Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of the Meu Sorteio: Organize e Premie app ("Meu Sorteio" or "app"), developed and maintained by HVCB App&Games ("developer"). By installing or using the app, you declare that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What the app is

Meu Sorteio is a random draw tool for use at home, at school, at work or at events: it draws numbers, names, teams and groups, secret santa, a prize wheel, dice, heads or tails, playing cards, bingo, letters, quick decisions, a finger on the screen and tournament brackets. Draws work completely offline.

2. License to use

The developer grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own, in accordance with these Terms and the app store policies. Copying, modifying, distributing, selling, renting, decompiling or reverse engineering the app is prohibited, except where permitted by law.

3. Ads

The app is free and supported by ads shown through Google AdMob (banner, native ad, interstitial, app-open ad, and rewarded ad, which pauses the others for 15 minutes. See the Privacy Policy for details). Ads are provided by third parties; the developer does not control and is not responsible for the content of the ads shown, nor for any products or services offered in them. No ad interferes with the result of the draws, and draws work even without internet, just without ads.

4. Draw results

• Results are generated on your device by the system's secure random number generator, with the same chance for each participant, or in proportion to the weights when you set them. Neither the developer nor the app chooses or favors results;
• Each completed draw is recorded in the device's history, with date, time, options and result, and can be shared as a receipt. This receipt is generated by the app itself, is not certified by third parties and has no value as an official document;
• Agreeing on the rules before the draw, deciding whether it will be repeated and settling disagreements between participants is up to the organizer.

5. Prize draws and permitted use

• Whoever organizes a draw is solely responsible for it: for the rules, the list of participants, the delivery of any prizes and compliance with the law;
• Promotional draws run by companies (free distribution of prizes to promote products, services or brands) may require prior government authorization under Brazilian Law No. 5,768/1971 and the regulations in force, or under the laws of your country. The app does not obtain, replace or waive this authorization;
• Using the app for betting, raffles, unauthorized lotteries or games of chance prohibited by law is forbidden.

6. Your responsibility

• Checking names, quantities and options before drawing;
• Registering other people's data only when necessary (see the Privacy Policy);
• Using the app only for lawful purposes;
• Keeping your own device secure.

7. Data and backup. Important limitation

Lists, history and settings are saved exclusively on your device. There is no account, login or cloud backup. Therefore:

• Uninstalling the app, or losing, replacing or damaging the device, may cause permanent data loss;
• The developer has no copy of your data and cannot recover it in any of these situations;
• The app offers a manual backup and restore feature (a file you save or share yourself), but creating this backup, keeping it in a safe place and keeping it up to date remains your responsibility.

8. Privacy

Data handling in the app is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

9. Intellectual property

The app, including its brand, name, visual identity, code and content, belongs to the developer and is protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not transfer to you any ownership rights over the app. The names and lists you register are yours.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is", with no guarantee that it will be free of errors or interruptions, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for prizes promised or delivered by whoever organizes a draw, disagreements between participants, draws held without the authorization required by law, data loss due to lack of backup, or any damage arising from the use of the app, including temporary unavailability or third-party ad content. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be waived under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.

12. Suspension and termination

The developer may end or suspend the distribution of the app or of specific features, with notice through the app store when required. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

13. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated to reflect changes in the app or in legal requirements. The current version will always be available on this page, with the update date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new version.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of your place of residence are chosen to settle disputes arising from these Terms, in accordance with consumer protection law.
